Commit partnership: Science of Reading Bright Spots

The Commit Partnership is an multi-faceted impact organization working hard to make a living wage attainable for Dallas County and Texas. One of their initiatives recently awarded four local educators with the Bright Spot Award, which celebrates their commitment and success to the Science of Teaching Reading.  

Production for this project took place over two weeks at several locations to accommodate the educators and their schedules. We had a short window to capture each interview and b-roll, and so capturing a lot of footage that showed a wide variety of activities and angles was really important. During pre-production, we made sure to emphasize that planning for several activities during each b-roll session would be ideal but knew that we would need to be flexible on-site.
